..Beg to differ, went after reading a post here that Macro was selling "Cod".I should have known better, the price was 100Bath for 4 pices of frozen "Cod".
Well it was absolutly the worst fish i ever eaten here in Thailand, watery and flesh very soft, real cod is firm, smell was off..and after frying it i took ONE bite..never more.To even been called "Cod"is totally missleading, and you NEVER get 4 pices of REAL Cod for anywere close to 100Bath.

The Red Talapia from Blue Gourmet is my choise...

Thanks Alfie , I never realised how bad it was , and i wont be eating anymore . Not a great fish lover anyway , but it was a nice change on occasion .
Now youve got more chance of getting me on a 737 Max , than eat local dory again .

I forgot to tell you about the REAL COD they sell at Villa..Took the two last pices,330gr/265gr,asked for the price and one of the ladys come back telling me 330Bath..i asked if that was for the big one..same price for the big and small Codfilé... Then they asked if i wanted to buy,i told them no if the price was same for BOTH..and the diffrent in weight was 65gram..

Just go for the one i recommended..Have a great day..:-)

It seems like most everything we eat is not really safe. My wife buys most of her vegetables from the local fresh market. One day while I was with her, she was buying vegetables that had insect holes in them. The next table had beautiful vegetables. I asked her why she didn't buy the beautiful vegetables. She told me that if the bugs wouldn't eat them, she wasn't going to eat them either.
