Did anyone actually check whats been stapled. Thought I'd better check. Found that there's two in there the TM 28 & TM 30 .
Last year had two pieces of paper in PP, this year only one, the white one no more, go figure?
The TM28 and TM30 do not expire and are not renewed annually, so if you had both in you passport you should still have them there now.

Information for Udon immigration only, other offices may differ.
The white one was removed by immigration when I renewed three weeks ago?

Sorry for resurrecting this again for the guy's who had the form stapled into their passport.
I'm on with sorting out the paperwork for extension.

Once more into the breach Mr Christian 😂😂😂
That is standard, though I have unstapled mine as things like that make damaging the pages easy, and have them tucked in the back, immigration has no problem with that.

"that is standard "yeah right. It's been going on for just over one year. Some have them some don't have them. Same as having to go back into i/o after applying for an extension
Some have had to go back (to show bank statements)numerous times. Others only once a few not at all. STANDARD my arse

So I am arriving tomorrow on my Non Imm O-A Visa for my first day in Thailand on a near permanent basis, staying at my TG house.

Do I go to Udon Thani Immigration or to the Police Station to do my TM 30

Other than the following is there anything else I should take
Copy of my passport’s photo page
Copy of my passport visa page
Copy of my departure card ??? Wont have a departure card??

Landlord will need to take:
Copy of his/her title deed
Copy of the rental contract

TM30 reports are done at immigration not the police station as you live near Udon.

While the law specifies a report within 24 hours Udon immigration has not been enforcing this requirement and has not been imposing a fine. They have been getting the TM30 and TM28 filled in when you go for your first extension.

However if you have time then going to immigration to complete the forms within 24 hours of you arriving in Udon will be 100% safe

The departure Card is the part of the arrival Card that you keep so you will have that, it is the TM6 that you fill in on arriving.

You have missed that you will need a copy of your arrival stamp that may not be on the same page as your visa and that you need both front and back of the TM6 and that you need a copy of your Landloard's ID Card, also that it isn't the title deed but the Blue book

All copies must be signed preferably in blue ink.

Taking the Landloard with you can't do any harm if they are available but isn't strictly necessary.

Did mine yesterday in KK and everything as highlighted above

The form needs to be signed by the home owner so, they will need to be with you unless you want a second trip.

There's a lot of rumours ,different takes on this TM 30 ,eg if you are resident at an informed address on long stay ,that if you go away for a few days ,on return the landlord /wife / owner, etc of the property has to submit a TM 30 ,Udon I/O say this is not necessary only if you change permanently your address , I asked this and many other questions in the office yesterday ,
And on another note on application for extension of stay based on marriage ,Even though i have proof of having no less than 400,000 bht in an account for 13 years and more ,(which i've always had 1, for immigration , but mainly for medical emergencies ,) i'm still requested to proved again 14 days before issuing extension of stay, these quirks are not the onus of the Immigration officer your dealing with it's the request of head office ,.
I also asked multiple questions about retirement extension , but that's another story ,PM's only as i'm tired of being pecked ,

I came across this for the first time yesterday ,i know understand why people are getting pissed off with it all , Although the petition is childishly written ,check out 48 part of it ,travelling to another province for more than 24 hours , i read it as you've to report to I/O or nearest police station within 48 hours of arriving and staying there for awhile /holiday etc ,
I wish i'd had this when i was in Udon I/O but as my previous report udon are not enforcing this ,(that is until the first time they do ) .
HA HA on another note i was socialising with an inspector on the police force ,(as i quite often do ) i put this to him the report to nearest police station if staying outside your normal province for more than 24 hours, HE knew nothing about this , 2 phone call's later still he knew nothing , no surprises there then ,

I went and did my TM 30 at Udon Thani Thai Immigration office last Friday. The officer at the first desk could not have been more helpfull and was extremely considerate of my circumstance.

After a quick read of my paper work and a couple of questions I had my TM 30 paper in my Passport in less than 15 minutes. Max 20 minutes from when I walked in the door to when I walked out.

No issues what's so ever

Went Monday just after lunch. In and out in 15 minutes. No hassle at all.
Don’t worry about tomorrow. Today is terrifying enough.
I never forget a face, but in your case I can do an exception.
