I will post for information but do not know for sure if it is 100% accurate.
Bangkok Hospital before would treat Veterans and submit the bill to the VA for anything over 10,000 Baht.
This Policy has come to and end because of the VA's extremely slow method of paying the Hospital. I do not know if this applies to Tri-care also. This a Hospital employee told my Wife.

There is a good English speaking customer service section at Bangkok Hospital. They can tell you what Insurance Providers they will bill directly. Tri-Care was dropped some time ago for the reason mentioned; slow payment...
