Just gone to censorship across the entire spectrum.

NOW this is out of control. WTF goes through their tiny pea brains!

Is the entire Thai access to the internet next? :-#

And Jack called RABBIT a cvnt for closing ABC Aust Network. He is not on the same planet as these idiots who close down general entertainment, nation wide, just to highlite their political agenda.

Let the games begin!

PAS8 satellite (which includes Oz network, BBC Asia, NHK Japan and a couple of Korean stations) is still running.

I guess even the might of the Thai military can't close down the non-domestic satellites. :D

There's no better way to keep folks inside during the curfew hours than shutting down TV broadcasts. :)

BBC, Bloomberg, the lot on Truevisions/UBC are all off.

It's a coup again, but surely an over reaction.

Still OFF this morning!
So forgetting the disruption to the Farang and Tourist population, yet to figure what Movies or Sport can do to corrupt our minds?

Overnight the Thais are bored out of there brains, not having soap to view, nothing better to do than plan their next step. Dare I say violence.

Can't remember if they shut down UBC in 2006? I was subscribing to it back then.

Same thing with CTH Satellite. Get some guy in military garb spouting something on Channel 1. Some channels have a sort of patriotic banner

Because I had nothing better to do last night, I asked the same question.....google answered it.......yes, UBC was off the air after the coup in 2006. According to the link below, BBC was back on the air the next day. Don't hold your breath though.....this is a different guy in charge.

One could speculate all day as to whether it is actually he who is "in charge". ;)

Thank God they haven't killed the Net, yet. Still have live streaming, again, for now.

Just come back from old tesco, loads of kids left to watch prerecorded stuff in the tv section while parents enjoy the free aircon :D

Many films can download and watch on youtube or just go to the entertaining section and have a laff \:D/

Obviously directed at the Thais as foreigners are a very small % of the UBC and Cable TV subscribers!Just another thing we have to put up with in the ''Third World'',while spending less and soaking up the other benefits to living here

I believe most all (from a TV point of view - PUN) will be back to normal through this evening. TTF! I can now extract Mrs Dero off the ceiling fan and place her in front of a soap [-o<
