What work does OT do in Doha? Perhaps he earns a squillion in IT management? Perhaps he picks new airline hostesses? That might be a very interesting job. I'd like to decide who Thai Air employs.

How do you know it feels like 48c,Alan ? Have you got a thermometer stuck in one of your orifices or something ?
Surely for a younger,slim,fit person it would not feel as hot as for someone who is getting on a bit and overweight ?
Not that I'm putting you in the latter category,old chap !

No,its just that Accu Weathers headquarters are in Pennyslvania,USA......they dont have people on the ground,like in Prajak Road Nong Khai saying "Blimey,its hot....feels like 48c here."

Cooled down quite a bit here in Doha this morning, around 40 degrees at 11am. Reason being is the winds have picked up and there are dust storms everywhere. OT drove through a couple of heavy dust storms this morning and I should imagine a bucket and spade will be required to clean my air filter later.
OT cannot understand drivers that drive with their hazard warning lights on in such conditions, it just makes it confusing for other motorists when they make a turn. Dipped headlights with the fog lights on are sufficient in OT's opinion.

I'm in Phoenix. Today is supposed to hit 115f (46c). It will be the 6th consecutive day over 112f (44c). The locals' favorite saying is, "it's a dry heat". WTF, when it's 46 it's freaking HOT! Can't even hold on to the car steering wheel without a towel.

You gotta bung in "feels like ..." to get near the Nong Khai man's high standards. I'm glad I'm not in Phoenix. The weather in Liverpool is probably better.

It's good to read OT might have some competition for the Doha weather reports. That'll keep the old timer on his toes.

.....They reckon it's 32c Feels like 40c at the moment.....I Reckon its more like 27c with a feel like of 29c.....Windy aswell.Just Like Morti....
