Re: Vet practice - Udon. Good experience

Can you supply name of clinic and more exact location. I am not sure I know where the Samsung Service Center is. I agree with Vince. I have not been pleased at the clinic near the airport. Suvarnabhumi Airport Maintance

Hello! Has anyone experienced arrival/departure delays since the start of runway maintenance on March 05. I have not heard or read anything pertaining to the airline scheduling delays. Perhaps they did not begin the maintenance scheduled for the beginning of March or, it is being delayed. I can not ...

Re: Netflix in Thailand..some questions i have..

I really recommend https://www.iflix.com/ It's cheap and has a good range of movies and tv shows, you can also download to mobile devices to watch offline, etc. But the best thing about it is that everything has Thai subtitles you can switch on and off so it's perfect for watching stuff with your t...

They had one case available which if still there I will pick up next time I go shopping. Has anyone tried this beer and would you know where the...

Lazada Online Purchase

I did a search here and nothing came up. Has anyone had experience purchasing a computer or mobile phone from Lazada online? I am considering buying a Microsoft mobile phone and/or a new computer. I recall reading somewhere to be cautious when making a purchase with this company. I also notice when ...

I am not aware of a thumbs print requirement for Alien ID Card. I have read reports of those who received the card and no mention of thumb prints required.

Re: US Passport Card

I have one, had it for 4 years, never used it. Although, I may start using it as an ID for domestic flights because on my last 2 trips, the airlines are now asking for passport as the only form of ID. Prior, I used to use and they accepted, my Thai driver's license. No problem using Thai License for...

TRANSFER OF CAR OWNERSHIP

Just asked Mrs Panmotor about this as obviously we register and re-register bikes. Initial answer was that you do have to go to where the bike was registered so original post was correct. Any office will make a judgement each time and, on occasions, it can be done locally apparently but this seems ...

TRANSFER OF CAR OWNERSHIP

I had dealings with the Phen transport office recently and no problems. Mind you I was actually selling my car to a Thai lady. Paid something like 1200 for the valuation/purchase transfer tax (that's how I regard it), that's all. The car was in my name. I did have a yellow book, IF that helped. Thi...

I just returned from the land and transportation office in Udon (purple building) very far out of town to transfer my car to my wife. Told we have to complete transaction at Amphur Pen because car is registered in that Amphur. Hell of a long drive only to be told "can not do" as has happened to me m...

Car insurance and Lessons Learnt

The last time we bought a new vehicle we told the dealer "Viriyah Insurance or no deal". They agreed. If you don't specify, they'll likely detail you to a lesser quality company. I visited the Viriyah Insurance office across from military hospital because I need to renew my auto insurance soon. My ...

New US trained dentist at Bangkok Udon Hospital

It has been close to six months since the OP on this thread... Has anyone actually been to see Dr. Yada, as as patient? Impressions, competence, feedback, etc.? Yes, I had a checkup with her back in March. Because I had an abscess tooth, I initially went to Bangkok because of the post about the US ...

Recent Trip to Bangkok Hospital

Good review of Bangkok Hospital. I have heard nothing but good things about them since they came to Udon Thani. =D> Does anyone know if Bangkok Hospital has a Hematology unit for outpatients. I would like to get a complete blood count and urinalysis. I asked the front desk last time I was there, th...
