Re: Big increase in air fares

From what I have observed, Qatar prices fluctuate a lot.
I was watching prices for BKK-LGW-BKK over the past month. Qatar prices have gone from 31000BHT to 38000BHT to 440000BHT and back down today to 31000BHT for the same flight.
I haven't seen any change to Emirates prices during that period.

Re: Big increase in air fares

Friend of mine bought a Qatar r/t about 10 months ago for his current Feb - April vacation and paid £948. He has just booked another Qatar r/t for his next Nov - Jan vacation and paid £1166. That's a 23% increase. Unless your mate is flying business, I think he overpaid. Today I booked Qatar return...

Re: Big increase in air fares

I've been keeping an eye on economy flights to the UK. Yesterday I came close to booking a Qatar flight. Today the same flight has increased 7000 baht.

I had problems last night. Not an unusual occurrence for a Saturday. I now watch my Saturday night sport via satellite to avoid the buffering.

Re: Blood Pessure (Hypertension) Meds

If it is of any help or guidance, a Cardiologist at AEK put me on Losartan 50mgs back in 2014 due to my BP being high (after having driven from Nong Khai in monsoonal rainstorms!) Upon returning to the UK in 2015, my GP continued the Losartan same dosage, but since then about a year or two ago, add...

Re: Cricket 2023

No doubt the best team won. England were diabolical on the first day.
Whatever the Aussies do that cheating label is hung on them forever.
In the next game I can see Bairstow throwing the ball at the stumps after every ball to make a point.

Who'd be a teacher?

Been talking to my son who's a teacher at a school close to the one in the news and knows all the people involved.

Well done to the pupil who spoke up against the teacher.

Re: Deaths in the Expat Community

I spent over an hour looking at hundreds of pics from past years trying to find one that had Bob shown in it that I could post, sadly I have to say I do not have one (I can only assume the old b*gger was propping up the bar whilst the pics of others were being taken). Some people do tend to avoid h...

Sadly Bob passed away on Monday evening after suffering a heart attack on Saturday.
Bob was a well know member of the Udon Thani pool community.
His funeral is planned for Thursday, 3.00pm at Wat Si Khun Muang, which is near Nong Sim lake.( on the assumption that the body is released on time).

Re: Renew marriage visa

Yesterday I went to get my latest Tor Ror 2 form. Much to my surprise the form automatically updated to my new passport number. Which begs the question, if something like that can be done automatically why does it take immigration 30 minutes to manually input the same information every year when doi...

No idea why Southgate took off Saka. He had a brilliant first half. Stupid if you ask me.
My thoughts exactly. He was even having a better second half. Then to compound the error by replacing him with the useless Sterling. Proof that the useless Wokegate doesn't have a clue.
