Canada is a leader in Nuclear power. Some reactors are approaching 50 years in service. The big difference is that they operate using Heavy Water/Deuterium Oxide as a coolant/Moderator.

BUT for all of us key board jockeys out here, We weren't there prior to the incident, We weren't there at the time of the incident, and we certainly wont be there in probably 2-3 years when the recommendations come out for implementation.
