Re: Grass Roots Footie 2017/18
Thanks for sharing Adhoc. I was at the home leg as a young lad and dont remember any of those tackles. Must have been the norm then! Listened to the 2nd leg on my tranny (no jokes!!) and remember feeling a bit aggrieved when McQueen got sent off. Looking now, it might have been deserved! All that an...

Re: Kumphawapi.
Not heard anything locally Trubrit. The centre of town seems as normal as it can be so, it may have been in one of the outlying areas. Near the centre, we have had a couple of localised storms and the electricity was down for an hour or so yesterday evening but, nothing I would call extreme If you h...

Re: Grass Roots Footie 2017/18
Pretty sure its not those 2. Oxford were always a league club in my life time and Cambridge replaced one of my local clubs, Bradford Park Avenue, in about 1970.

Re: Grass Roots Footie 2017/18
Wycombe came to me in Dairy Queen over a choc cheesecake sundae (a bit disappointing to be honest - the sundae not my brainwave!!) but struggling with the other. Thought it might be Maidstone but, just seen Zid had that one! I was trying to remember who had humbled Leeds in the cup which was how I g...

Re: Grass Roots Footie 2017/18
Of course, if I was in the UK, I would be at Elland Road - assume you are going :D Unfortunately not. We live near Bristol now & Mrs N has made my plans for the morning so won’t be able to take the trek oop north hence the haggling with Sky to watch the game Yeah, my missus put her foot down too. D...

Don't forget the big game of the weekend... Leeds v Bristol City 23.30 on Sunday and live on MCOT Family (maybe). Another chance for the forumites to see a ground full of real supporters - about all we can brag about tbh Are you in miserable Blighty or sunnier climes, Pan? I just got what I think i...

Re: Grass Roots Footie 2017/18
As for the new badge .. waste of money , it will cost millions to re logo everything better to buy players with that cash IMO. The LUFC badge should have the white Rose on it and a mention of the history of the city ...so a black pudding , flat cap n ferret or Indian curry reference maybe. DM You f...

Re: Uefa League of Nations
If I read the rules correctly, the winner of each league qualifies for Euro 2020. If you look at the teams in League D, it would be worthwhile Scotland getting relegated from C to qualify for the next Euros. Ridiculous!!

Re: 2017 Ashes Tour
Rumours are the next Shane Warne has been found in the U/19 World Cup tournament. Lloyd Pope’s leg spin took England from 0-47 to all out 96. He got 8-35 a new u/19 World Cup tournament record. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I watched the game live whilst back in the UK and this kid looked exce...

Re: motorbike battery
Timmy,
Back in the UK for Xmas but, spoke to our mechanics via the wife.
They say they would expect a battery to last at least 3 years (dependent on use) and the cost would be THB 800/900 so your price was in the correct ball park.

The best place to buy is clearly Pan Motors :D If you are in Udon, it might be a bit out of the way for you but, happy to help if we can. My missus is the motor bike expert so, would really need to get her advice as to type - I am back in the UK for Xmas but, happy to hear from you on PM if you want...

For my fellow members of the Leeds United Supporters Thailand (LUST), I am told that tonights game is apparently live on an ESPN channel in the US. It would normally follow that that would mean its also on MCOT Fam but cant see that its advertised. However, TIT so, tune in just in case.

Re: 2017 Ashes Tour
Personally, I think that the only thing that will save us is the weather (just checked and that isnt going to happen). Root has the application but the rest are unlikely to hang around and a new ball is due before we get anywhere near needing less than 100. Gives us a bit of hope going forward thoug...

Re: More than 8 Rai for sale near Kut Chap -LAST CHANCE BARGAIN!!
We have had a couple of offers from the locals and, frankly want to draw a line under this so, will accept. However, if anyone wants to get a bargain, we would accept any offers in excess of THB 1.45M. The land is worth more, even in this market but, doesn't fit in with our plans. Call 0995 273354 (...
