No wonder we sent the nutters and criminals down under when they ate beetroot and pinapple on a burger!

Re: Grass Roots Football 22-23
Oh dear, Scunny have dropped another division. As a Hartlepool fan I genuinely feel sorry for a team that most would consider should be in the football league but, like many other teams at this level, has been badly ran. Hartlepool could easily have fallen to the same fate a few years ago but manage...

Re: CIA Operated Secret Torture Site in Thailand
Did someone say the place was well guarded?
The only way this place is used for torture is if they're broadcasting K-Pop out.

Re: all about the new "Thailand Pass" starting november 1, 2021
Thai pass sorted for 3 of us, flying out in April. Much improved on the last time I did it in November with the turnaround time about 5 hours instead of 5 days. I got the approval back on the evening 28 Feb UK time that's how much more efficient they've got the process. Just the pre-departure and da...

Re: Transiting at Changi Airport
I read last night that there are plans to discuss the day 5 tests after some major airlines raised concerns that it's putting people off visiting Thailand. I mean anyone with any common sense could see that it might but apparently some people need telling! Fingers crossed the are scrapped as its an ...

Re: Transiting at Changi Airport
If they change the rules what are the chances of them refunding those who have already paid for PCR tests on day 1 and 5? Very slim I'd guess!

Non refundable, worth keeping in mind if booking in advance as there's no guarantee that the rules won't change in the coming months.
Good to see more options in Udon however.

Re: English Premier League 2021/22
Whoever says patter is a dying art, they need to read this thread. Back on subject, the league table looks much better for Newcastle now, still a long way to go. I watched Everton a few times this season and was convinced they'd be one of the 3 to drop but Frank looks like pulling them around. I thi...

Re: all about the new "Thailand Pass" starting november 1, 2021
I don't think anyone has issue with the initial quarantine. It's the leaving quarantine after a negative test then having to quarantine again on day 5 that is confusing people. You'll have been in contact with people for 3 or 4 days potentially anywhere in the country. Imagine if that day 5 test is ...

Re: all about the new "Thailand Pass" starting november 1, 2021
I'm sure I read the rules set to start 1st Feb mean the day 5 stay can be anywhere. The image I posted doesn't state that so we'll see. If you are allowed to stay in Udon for day 5 it's not like you have to head straight from the airport as with the day 1 stay so just find out what the latest covid ...

Re: all about the new "Thailand Pass" starting november 1, 2021
There's a few listed on Agoda with SHA Plus+ shown such as Centara, Pannarai etc. They'd be daft not to offer that if more people are going to be forced into an extra night in a hotel in any region. When I've looked at prices for test and go hotel rooms in Bangkok for one night the prices for 7 nigh...

Re: all about the new "Thailand Pass" starting november 1, 2021
I have flights booked for April as my son hasn't visited family for several years now. I'll do whatever the rules require as there are SHA+ hotels in Udon so it could just be a night in a hotel there on day 5. However, I don't see the benefit since we could isolate in our house and would only be wit...

Re: all about the new "Thailand Pass" starting november 1, 2021
A little old lady had grabbed my window seat at the front of the bus but started to bleat about needing the window so i took her aisle seat under protest just so boarding could be uninterrupted. The hostess asked if i was happy to change and i pointed out i had no option with 100% pax load but Covi...

Re: all about the new "Thailand Pass" starting november 1, 2021
Definitely an improvement on the 7 days it took ours but we did apply the day the scheme opened so there was always going to be larger number and teething issues.
