This made me chuckle

Apparently you cannot praise black people for being faster and physically stronger. The BBC apparently never watched the boxing and athletics from the last few Olympics.

Re: EPL Season Resumes.

Are you a Chelsea fan Mat? I've no intense dislike for Lampard. When he was playing I thought he was a thoroughbred, especially when compared to Gerrard who, in my humble opinion, was one of the most overrated players of all time. I speak as someone who watched him at Derby last year. He had, arguab...

Re: EPL Season Resumes.

I agree that the EPL restart has been a little anti-climactic. With the exception of City, the football has been uninspiring. Last nights games were dull and predictable. Palace and Sheff were always going to get a hammering with the former showing absolutely zero attacking intent. Neither team had ...

Theres an app, "passport photo maker", which I used to do my own last time.

Good offer from Etihad if, like me, you are a regular user and anticipate relative normality returning.

Re: Bristol, England and its slave trading benefactor

scots & brits Scots are Brits unfortunately. The cream of the crop actually... like the head on a pint. That's the superior white bit then? You've just proved Mech's point. My pointing out that the Scots have been and forever will be top of the British class is not a comment on white supremacy. It'...

This should have all the "friends of Dorothy" who prefer sticking their heads between other mens buttocks in a lather. Even sensible chaps like me who prefer the round ball are outraged.

From a BBC report of today's briefing by Matt Hancock with reference to priority for future vaccines "He adds that the government will continue to take into account those who are most vulnerable including those from BAME backgrounds" As a fairly balanced person when it comes to politics, I find this...

Re: English Premier League 2019/20

Good to see that Messrs Smith and Terry at Villa upheld their principles of Fair Play last night.

Surely it was only fair to let Sheff U walk the ball into the net as compensation for a clear error.

Whoops, hypocrite alert.

Re: Grass Roots Footie 2018/19

Fixtures just been announced for TV coverage. One of the reasons LUFC didn't go up last year was that Sky/EFL switched 3 of our last 4 fixtures (last one was irrelevant) to live coverage after our rivals had played. Given that Sheff U and Norwich were consistently good, we were always playing catch ...

Re: Monthly Food and Household Items Budget

Being a stats nerd, I've kept records for the past 5 years. Average is 10k for myself and girlfriend. We eat out 2 or 3 times a week and this adds another 8k I am assuming you rent a small one bedroom, and have a scooter, not a car as your means of transport. Strange assumption but, no. I live in a...

Re: Grass Roots Footie 2018/19

There are many ways round the contract issues and FifPro have already hinted they will look to resolve it. If this is your only argument it's not a good one. What about Watford? They misused the loan market a few years back. Som nam na. Karen Brady? No comment. I would rather finish the season with...

Re: Non Immigrant O or OA Visa

I went to see if it was possible to extend existing visa and, if so, what I needed. They were friendly as always and, no issues.

After that I had intended to start again anyway and, recent events, make this the only option anyway.

Thanks for suggestions.
