A fantastic resort close to the historical park in Sukhothai, very stylish, friendly:

I stayed there last year. There are more up market and expensive resorts in Sukothai but, in the price range, this was good value. Owners were very nice people.

Re: COVID-19 Vaccination – Hypothetical

My 90 year old parents had the Pfizer jab today. They were told to come back 12/4/21 for the 2nd dose. They're not Norwegian so, hopefully they will still be around then.

Re: A Scathing Indictment of the UK Prime Minister

The schism between the age groups, as mentioned by others, is the fundamental part of this. My grown up kids (and DMs daughter) are horrified by the Government's handling of the crisis as they and their friends are seeing their futures being irretrievably damaged. Older people tend to be grateful to...

Re: EPL Banter Thread

Six shots on target for Burnley ........ that's over DOUBLE their average (and they were away). It should also be pointed out that even Mo Salah would have been surprised if given the penalty Bamford was awarded. AND Barnes scored a perfectly good goal when butterfingers in the Leeds goal managed t...

My partner came through Manchester airport from BKK on Saturday. It took 3 and a half hours to clear immigration. All that time she was held in a queue with no social distancing. It was chaos.

Re: EPL Banter Thread

Compare the 14 players who played in the Leeds team to those who played in the corresponding pre Xmas fixture before Bielsa's arrival. 5 were in both teams 1 was out on loan being not good enough for the Leeds squad 3 years ago. 5 were too young Only 3 were brought into the club for fees. It's not s...

No .. dont agree .. hyperthermically speaking .. i believe Scunny would beat the Scottish National side 8 times out ov 10 .. but at least we are discussing Jock footy on the correct thread ..grass roots ,, not the EPL. DM Scunny would definitely provide more entertainment. I've tried watching the l...

With all the negativity, I thought I would share a close up my Xmas tree in Blighty. These photos of the lovely Cheeky Girls always take pride of place.

They came free with their Xmas single "Have a cheeky Christmas" - a classic.

Re: EPL Banter Thread

2 defeats on the trot and we're going down! Man U and Everton must be certs then.

Back 5 for Leeds (including Phillips) were all at the club before Bielsa came and we were a poor Championship team. Our players are simply not Premier League quality but, because of Bielsa, we will be ok.

Ah yes, 1966 syndrome. "...Back home..." "...Three Lions on my shirt..." "...It's coming home, it's coming home..." It's world class football we're talking about here, not the bloody Eurovision Song Contest! Nothing at all wrong with being 100% comfortable in the place you deserve to be. England sh...

Can't remember England having to make excuses too often as we usually qualify.

I agree however that Scotland are world leaders in taking pride in their drinking. Sad really.

England will have to stop top players like Lewandowski and Klich.

Scotland get their usual p*** easy group but will be lucky to register a win.

Re: EPL Banter Thread

Chelsea = Werner or Giroud or Abraham. Leeds = Bamford. How big is the Leeds bus? Not in Bielsa's nature to "bus it". Before the season started I said we would struggle more against teams who played on the counter attack and, our defeats to Palace, Leicester and Wolves proved this. That gives me a ...

Re: EPL Banter Thread

I thought I'd leave it a few days and get all the crap out of the way........ Great to see Leeds outplay Everton last weekend. 58% possession, 23 shots to 15 and a masterclass against a team that were apparently good enough to be CL contenders. Chelski this weekend who, despite having Lampard as man...
