Re: Bread Maker , worth it or not ?

I bought my yeast off Lazada. The package was 500 grams. I think I paid about 150 baht for the package. Since each loaf takes about 5 grams, its certainly not an expensive item. I have an extra 500 grams in the freezer. The pros say it will last for years if you keep it frozen. My cinnamon raisin lo...

The barking dog seldom bites. I am more core concerned with the Iranian lunatics. They are happy to become martyrs where the North Koreans are not suicidal.

Re: Are staff being paid when business is closed?

If the business owner is financially stable, they may want to continue to compensate their key people. If they have a fairly large staff, it is unlikely they will pay them all.

Take it to the post office and tell them the letter looks important. It's their job to deliver it.

Re: Bread Maker , worth it or not ?

A lazy retired guy like me also has little patience. That's why I use use a bread machine. As lazy as I am, the little machine takes all the work out of it. Tomorrow I'll make a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread. If I had to make the dough by hand and bake it in the oven I wouldn't bother baking bread....

Re: Miscellaneous COVID-19/Corona Virus Discussion, Questions, etc.

I predict that this thing is going to get worse before it runs its course and gets better. If it goes much longer, people are getting sick of cabin fever and are going to start going about their normal lives, virus or not.

Same old situation. Damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. I seem to recall that he was a racist and bigot when he banned Chinese travel to or from the US.

Re: Bread Maker , worth it or not ?

A friend of mine got me started using a bread machine. He has been making his own bread for ten years with a bread machine. I wasn't sure and really didn't want to spend a lot of money so I bought a cheap one off Lazada. It is a Verasu Homemate. It does a great job. Dump the ingredients in the pan ...

Re: Solar Power

I have no reserve power. As mentioned the voltage in the mornings is 12.3 to 12.4 volts. I have an isolated 10 AMP circuit in my electrical panel with a double throw switch. Down is the grid power and up is the battery bank. It runs the refrigerator, freezer, small appliances and lights. The battery...

Re: Alt-right leaader's overwhelming stupidity

I find it amazing that some of you don't even know his name. You see fit to criticize him without knowing his side of the story. You would benefit from reading factual stories rather than listening to left wing radicals and their rants and rags.

Re: Gas changeover valve

Can you show an example of the one you had in Brisbane. I really can not imagine why you would want such a thing. EG If your bottle was empty which you were using you would have to go outside to operate the changeover switch. You would then have to disconnect that bottle to get it refilled. Why not...

I hope they screen the busloads coming from Bangkok. Many Loei residents are coming home from their jobs in Bangkok. As far as I know Loei province has no infections. That could change quickly.

Baltimore's mayor urges residents to stop shooting each other because hospitals need beds for coronavirus patients.
They need better weapons and shooting lessons to make sure that the shootings are fatal thus no need for medical care.

My systems are stand alone. I do have double the recommended panels to charge the battery banks. On a sunny day the banks are fully charged by about 11:00 AM. By the next morning the voltage is about 12.3 - 12.4 volts. During charging my meters show about 14.2-14.5 volts when fully charged and the s...
