Re: Easy pop shots at OZ labor Govt.
Given China’s vested interest in the Australian Wine Industry, the decision by Chinese authorities to recant the restrictions on Oz wine is more about promoting their own interests. If that is the case, why did the Chinese government impose the crippling tariffs in the first place? Perhaps JS you c...

Assuming you haven't spoke to the SME by contacting immigration for a 2nd opinion, and perhaps only relying on forum information?

Re: Easy pop shots at OZ labor Govt.
AEMO independent of government? No true and a silly statement. They have a more than 50% ownership by govt. The board of the CSIRO is appointed by the Governor general who is in turn appointed by an individual on advice from the Prime Minister. Don't sound independent from government to me. They mus...

I have used the young lady below to renew my passport. Contact Khun Kru on the number below. She owns the EDU English language shop in town opposite the main high schools and has a full staff to assist expats with many services. Not an agent. Besides her language teaching she has expanded now and do...

Yes Sport, nuclear power should be a feasible option in Australia, it appears the only group, the liberals, are trying to place the thought into the arena and open the dialogue on how we can achieve this. Head in the sand Bowen is hell bent on not listening and rushing to destroy the countryside tha...

Have a go at the Oz PM albosleazy knocking nuclear and Peter Dutton at a labor speech recently. albo said, 'labor is the party of the light on the hill and the Liberals just want us to glow in the dark' lol. Are the French glowing in the dark with their 56 nuke reactors. Rubbish from the PM and bla...

Re: Big increase in air fares
Its obvious that flight prices have gone up considerably, I just purchased a UT to Chang Mai return for 5,500, I think that expensive? But what is the reasoning for price hikes behind all this? Just look at Thai air for instance, I've been traveling the UT BKK route for many many years usually for w...

If ice is required in my beer at an establishment I dont go back, BUT, some local music joints and eateries run out of cold beer as the crowd moves in, that's when i go home, OR, I get the paid for ice and have the beer, usually the 2nd 3 long neck chang promotion, put in an ice bucket. Better to ha...

Forget talk of the popular term or buzzword climate change or whatever it will morph into next. Don't worry folks the barrier reef will bounce back, it always has. And coral reefs will just move and establish elsewhere. It's been proven time and time again. https://www.sydney.edu.au/news-opinion/new...

Re: Liquids on airlines
Does this liquid problem only affect carryon luggage? Just put liquids in your check in luggage. Duty free will be different but they normally seal it correctly in a clear bag. I don't carry anything in my on board backpack, liquid or otherwise to slow me down through airport checks. Belts shoes, ba...
