Re: Tucker Carlson: The Populist Paladin of Primetime

You may not like him or agree with anything he say's but Tucker Carlson's annual salary at Fox is around $6 million and he reportedly signed a $10 million book deal a few years back According to an article in Celebrity Net Worth, his show (for whatever reason) is consistently the highest-rated cable...

Been staring them in the face for 81 years and still the political leaders deny the obvious and do nothing The word in "Appeasement". That is all that most (and I say most) Political Leaders want to do with each other and or with China, thesedays. Few if any of the modern day Political Leaders have...

Under these circumstances, the aircraft was unintentionally hit," This is the statement I like to shift the blame That jet like all the others coming and going was on t...

Re: Ukrainian Passenger Plane Crashes in Iran.

You know, if they told me at the Airport that I was about to get on a Plane and fly out from a place where there was even the slightest possibility, that someone on the ground was walking around carrying a SAM or something similar, regardless of which Country it was, I would take one big step back a...

Re: Ukrainian Passenger Plane Crashes in Iran.

Plane goes up to 7000’in about two minutes after take off seems pretty normal to me. Plane then turns into fireball then crashes....not normal to me. Plane has puncture holes in fuselage seems like a SAM took this plane down. I am not even a armchair pilot however I do know where the good seats are...

My mate paid about 1,500 baht for a ticket today, pipoz.
Thats a good price compared to to my 10 days ago, but then it depends on what days and what time of day you fly.

Just curious, but is the T 1,500 on Thai Smile, and oneway or return BKK to Udon to BKK

Or is he flying out of DMK

Re: BKK to UT flight question

A friend is flying from the UK into Suvarnabhumi at 4pm on the 25th of Jan. Should he buy a ticket from BKK to UT when he arrives at Suvarnabhumi, or online before he departs the UK? Thai Smile which flys out of Suv to Udon Thani, have significantly increased their ticket prices for this current ho...

"Spiking world oil prices would put a dent in the US economy also. Not a smart move if you want to get reelected." Also I would say the Golden Boy has a lot more issues to worry about than oil going up in price and his Reelection chances Actually, probably not. If by "Spiking" you are suggesting th...

A three-year-old Boeing 737-800. Apparently fight data shows that it only reached an altitude of 2.4 km, before suddenly disappearing, some three minutes after take-off.

STWW, you must have shares in Boeing, that you are trying to protect.   I am like you, in that I go on what I read and research. It may be an interesting read and undoubtably others will read it as well. It points to a “Lack of Stability resulting from erors or oversights in the Desi...

The unfortunate thing about it is, that it has happened before (all be it in other areas) and it will happen again. I was in Adelaide during the Ash Wednesday fires of 1983 and fortunately I was down in the city and not in the Adelaide Hills themselves. It's frightening from a distance, let alone be...

Re: Another Country Grounds The 737-MAX

When the mechanics couldn't keep up with Toyota BJ47 ute diesel engine rebuilds up in China back in 1983, we toyed with slinging spare Chrysler V8 gasoline engines from the unusable portable drill rigs into them. It took about 3 weeks and we only ever built the one as it proved very hard to handle ...
