Re: Fishing net

Can anyone suggest a store that sells large nets for fishing. The ones you fling into the water and weights sink it down to trap the fish. I have some really big fish in the pond. But for the life of me cant catch one! Few tiddlers now and then.I am not into fishing!Nor in anyway interested. But ju...

Does anyone know the process to get this done ? Do i need to fly to bangkok to have my Australian certificate translated or can it be done locally in udon? My marriage certificate is British but I had to send it to the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office to verify it was genuine (apostille) and they...

Re: U.K. going on lockdown, USA stopping restricting movement. WTF

There is a possible ray of hope, if the numbers are not being changed for political reasons, the past numbers of infections at around 15 days in the past seems to be translating into a lower death rate, if this is genuine rather than just a delay the chances of death are reduced. Regrettably it’s be...

Re: Vehicle without books

Choppers by their very nature are chopped so there will be no chassis or frame number or an engine number that doesn't match anything else. Totally and forever illegal. For a true chopper there Would/could still be a frame number and would be an engine number, though they might have come from diffe...

Re: U.K. going on lockdown, USA stopping restricting movement. WTF

I think Trump is passing a poisoned chalice to President Biden since Covid 19 management has been hyper-politicized in the US. If Trump had pursued reasonable policies from the outset, that would have happened much less. I foresee many many Americans not getting on board with President Biden's resp...

Re: Vehicle without books

I have seen a couple of ads selling vehicles with no books. Anybody had experience in trying to legalise ownership on such vehicles? Getting a replacement book for the registered owner is a reasonably simple process, though it will take some time to get it. So the obvious conclusion is that there s...

Perhaps. But doesn't the UK still have a higher per capita death rate than the US? If it does, I expect that will flip soon.
It will probably take a couple of months (46 days if the USA averages 1,500 per day and the U.K. stops)

Re: U.K. going on lockdown, USA stopping restricting movement. WTF

On a per capita basis the UK has struggled in some respects with Covid 19 as much, if not more, than the US. However there's a reasonable expectation the UK can get and is indeed getting its act together. There isn't with the Trump administration. Trump is just too nutty to solve this one. You thin...

Don’t forget that all the old infections are still around dragonz could well have had something similar to whopping cough, though the cough would have lasted longer than he suggests his did. Unfortunately even if you got it as a kid it’s still possible to get it again in later life and it’s no laugh...
