This is another year of picking the least of the evils. Or at least that is how I view it. Hilary, Trump to many red flags anybody for communism, damn I'm NOT

I agree with you about Bush and Trump. You need to read up on Obama. He's as Marxist Red as they come. If history is kind to Obama, then the authors of that history need to be examined.[/quote]

I am not an American, but I must say that, I find this particular Presidential Primary runoff, entertaining to say the least. To the point that, myself and other non Americans, do actually watch it and to some extent eagerly await the outcome.

In past, I probably would have gone to the WC for a dump, rather than watch it on TV. Nevertheless it continues to entertain, and its end is unpredictable.

As an outsider looking in, I am amazed at the absence of quality Candidates, from a Country of 320 Miilion. There must be some out there worthy of being the President of the USA. Then again maybe the worthy or smart ones, stay out of Politics? I must say my Ex Country is no different, when it comes to choosing its.
That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.

Sadly everything she said seems to be true. So at this juncture that leaves us with the Communist and the Billionaire.

From the Yahoo news today sounds like another candidate may come out of the Republican convention. At one time that would have really bothered me. Today not so sure seem to FUBAR to me.

I see Drumpf is polling very well. He actually leads Crooked Hillary in some polls.

I suspect the governments in some countries such as Thailand might prefer Drumpf to get the top job. His election might be good for current US - Thai relations at a governmental level. He might, however, make it more difficult to take a Thai teeruk back to the US. Just speculating. It's well and truly speculation season given the polls say Drumpf has a significant chance of becoming President Trump.

Well well well ... it seems Trump has the nomination ... President Trump perhaps?

Bill Sh!tforbrainshorten has overstepped the mark declaring Trump a looney, could embarrassing if deal with a possible future president.

Shorten should have learned from Cameron's problems from having a go at Trump. I'm looking forward to Trump visiting Downing Street as part of his campaign before the election. Obama is holding back less now. It's a fascinating American election. I understand the election probably turns on at most half a dozen key states.

He's not anti immigration, he's against the runners coming across from Mexico, and elsewhere, and being given driver's licenses, free schooling, free medical, etc., etc., etc.

Trump's, in his first speech detailing his energy policies if elected president - he will basically undo Obama's agenda.

I think it's a small step from being anti-Muslim immigration and tourism to locking others out. Particularly when there may be ugly trade wars. Let's hope he doesn't make a mess of immigration if he's elected. I see a lot of uncertainty if Drumpf is elected.

One of the continuing most interesting aspects of this election is who will be the new First Lady.........Melania or Hilary ? ;)

Zids, socksy or someone should arrest you for that "photo" of Hillary.

I read up on US immigration on wikipedia Lonestar. You overlooked racial prejudice being a driver of US immigration policy. My country would be similar - keep non-whites and at times non-WASPs out. The US southern border problem has been around for 50+ years in the US.

The "markets" seem to consider Drumpf's chances of winning very low. They seem to get anxious about Brexit but not about Drumpf. It seems increasingly obvious that Drumpf winning is going to be an absolute disaster. Just as well China is currently an economic basket case.

I think the markets are under-estimating Drumpf. I think he can damage Hillary and he will. Nevertheless I still pick Hillary as a comfortable winner. I acknowledge that I have got the occasional forecast incorrect in my life. :D
