Nice to see the Lottery Tickets selling for 80 baht. How Long? I wonder? Anyone care to make a GUESS. The Casinos went away for a month or so now they are back in FULL swing, police(191) RIDE BY SMILE HMMMMMM! Yep just a WAY of Life for the poor hoping to hit the BIG ONE! :roll:

OLD Girl tried to get Bt90 for a ticket yesterday, I smile started to walk away, she QUICKLY said ok 80bt. HMMMMM!

Maybe it was of those old favourite/popular number scams where you used to pay 110 bht. :D

Bought a couple at the old tesco,price was right,but took ages to get the change,fumbling around and giving that 'have not had a meal in two days look',so gave him the ' you having a laugh look' :D
Loads of one baht coins,bought dairy queen ice cream to get rid of them :D 8)

Well, if it becomes unprofitable to sell them, then sellers will not. Then the lottery will loose money .....

If the markup is too low the government will have to up it. But buying tickets at 80 or less and selling at over a 100 was a ripoff.

They pass through many dealers hands, you didn't have to buy them, now thousands out of work.

they chose the wrong type of employment possibly :-k .got fed up with those that thought they could overcharge on the agreed price,their loss =D> 8)

Yes the people in your face selling tickets will be losing but it was the cream skimmers before them who got the lions share.
The over pricing has stopped and I am sure that the others will still be out again one day selling.
The 30 tbt a ticket over the price had to stop.

Why did it have to stop? no one forced anyone to buy, there were loads of different levels getting an allocation and then selling them on, this has put thousands out of a job, for no good reason in my opinion.

Most of those 'out of a job' are probably the middle men who made excessive profits.

No, most in my village went to Rayong to sell now cannot as no money to be made. and many thousand elsewhere.
