Looking pretty desperate for the Aussies at the end of day 3.....

Pakistan 570-6 dec and 61-2
Australia 261 (Marsh 87)

Mitchell Johnson took 2 quick wickets at the start of Pakistans second innings but has the amazing figures of

Yes Zid not too flash at all. The lads in the baggy green are not enjoying their time in the sandpit near as much as the boys from the Western Sydney Wanderers have.
Mitch Marsh batted nicely but he along with the rest of the top and middle order seem to be only able to bat aggressively. There has to be a time when you say lets try some risk free batting. Should be pretty simple and if you get a ball that genuinely beats you like both Micheal Clarke and Steve Smith last night, then that's cricket. But jumping down the track like Glenn Maxwell (37 off 28 balls) shows no cricket nous and a lack of correct test match temperament.
Pakistan lost 6 wickets in the first two days so it's up to us to do something like that in the next two days.

The final day didnt go too well for Australia.Resuming on 143-4 after being set an improbable 603 to win, they had a good morning session reaching 238-5 losing only Maxwell for 47.
But Steve Smith was out immediately after lunch for 97 and Australia subsided to 246 all out in a collapse that would have had the England middle order purring with pride !
But Australia quickly have an opportunity to put things right with two home series coming up against South Africa and India.
New Zealand are now in the United Emirates to take on Pakistan and England will shortly be touring Sri Lanka.

Pakistan 570-6 dec and 293-3 dec
Australia 261 and 246

Pakistan win by 356 runs and take the series 2-0

It's back in the hands of the Asian bookies now. :( It might have been with the Aussies too.

Pakistan has a history of dodgy cricket against NZ.
