New Scooter club

This may sound a tadge strange but ........... im thinking of starting a scooter club in Udonthani .

For those not aware of the above its a MOd thin dating back from when mash was in his teens and by scooter i mean either a Lambretta or Vespa (any model any age) ,, i want to form aclud for any one who is an enthusiast of the said mode of transport .

I ve just tret mi sen to a 49 year old Lambretta LI 150 the same model i had when i was 18 years old , im posting to see if any others are interested or already have amachine so can get out on the rd to Knowhere .

U.P.S.C .......Udon Pathfinders Scooter Club .......anyone ?? ....maybe not ,, this could be the smallest club in history.

Why limit it to the models you speak of? I have a scooter that I like a lot that is not one of those, but probably is a bit more easygoing on both the wallet and rider. Get togethers for a jaunt through the narrow streets of UT, with a refreshment stop along the way, might be something that appealed to a lot of folks.

Its called "style " Li red .............. history , part of British culture and i reckon its great i can still ride about on the exact same model machine i had when i was 19 now im the best part of 50 ,,,, not clinging onto youth thats way gone just remembering the past ........ if you get chance get the movie Quadrophenia will give you some style tips and the toys are very sexy

Ah, it all comes clear now...

I am well familiar wid Mods and their obsession wid small equipment... I do prefer "Tommy" to "Quadrophenia"... And, "Live at Leeds" best of all... But, really, I was a Stones kinda guy...

I see a lot of you all regressing to childhood, as you age...

Me, myse'f, prefers ridin a stompin scoot, playin n da band, and fish...

For me, long as you ridin a scoot, it's sorta irrelevant what kind...

You must drop by the Nong Sim gaff Li to see the eeeeer Li ....... IMO its a piece of art ,,, useable art and gives me a tingle when i ride it ... i am partial to laid back music a little from the Mod era the Ronettes and Booker T to name just 2 ,,, i must say tho my fav sounds are fro the Doobey brothers , the Long Train Running album is for me tops .

We all have different ideas likes n dislikes im not a big bike fan tho ridden a chopper or two in my tim .. very scary i much prefer the more dulsit tons and serenity of the Lambretta .
