picked up our passports with Thai O-A "Long Stay" retirement visas from the Thai Embassy in DC today. We submitted our paperwork Monday at 0900 and they were ready on Wednesday at 1215. Service at the Consular office was quick, polite and with no wait. A point to those with Thai wives; if the wife is a US citizen but still has her Thai passport and ID card that have your last name, bring them. You will not have to pay the visa fee for her if you do that...
