While I happen to like 18K there are many western golfers in Udon who having played it once will not return to play it again; it is not a course or club house that I would recommend as representative of a good Thai holiday golfing experience, neither would I recommend Wing 23 (Air Force course) or Nong Samrong (Army course).
Depending on the time available I would go for:
- 1. Sri Thani, 9 holes – 20 minutes from Udon

2. Victory Park, 18 holes (Nong Khai) – an hour from Udon

3. Singha Park 18 holes (Khon Kaen) – about two and a half hours from Udon

While Singha Park is by far the most expensive and the furthest away from Udon, IMHO the course (although rather flat) is good and club house is absolutely excellent
