What does it mean 6 month lease plus 1 month deposit house rental? does that mean you have to pay 6 months rent up in advance plus deposit? whats the usuall agreements for rentals in udon thani and thailand, hope somebody can help me out ,thank you.

I think the example you cite is quite a standard agreement whereby you enter into a 6 month agreement and Pay 1 months deposit followed 6 monthly payments of the agreed rent. If after the 6 months you leave, your deposit is returned minus any unpaid rent and or damages
